Beautiful Seaview Apartments Herne Bay

Scammers. Asked for deposit on an outside link. Uncleaned. Poor locks - unsafe. Asked for refund - no reply. Negative: Scammers own this property and booking.com won’t help you. Do not risk it. Sent an outside link asking for £500 deposit which is against the rules and very dodgy. I checked with booking.com and they said it was indeed not right and don’t pay. The owners answered to booking.com and said “we’ll waive it this time round” and “will put it on the site description in future” obviously that hasnt been done and they’ll continue to scam this way. When i arrived, apt was uncleaned and disgusting. Dirty sheets, pubes, hair, wet shower full of skin, shaving hair and scum, full bin. No clean towels or sheets. Obviously cannot be bothered with basic hygiene. The lock was literally falling off the front door and very unsafe. Solo travellers DO NOT STAY. Never ever replied to me or answered the phone number. I refused to stay and left an hour after i arrived having to pay for a travelodge. All time stamped messages and calls documenting. Put in for a request which booking.com said they supported but nothing has been done and i dont have my money back. I have also just seen a review on here from the exact date i booked from a ‘jess’ which either they’ve had exactly the same problem or someone has taken the liberty of writing a review for my stay with almost identical wording to the comments on our private booking.com chat. All in all an unsafe unclean disaster. They still have my money. I didnt stay And they wont reply. Scammers and theives

Nice Sea views and , close to pier Positive: Great location beach front property , I was 3rd floor and a great view across the beach and sea Negative: I didn’t get internet details sent to me as was supposed to and available in the account for the property so had no internet tv signal either because of that . I sent a message through the account but no response in time before I left .

Negative: The apartment had not been cleaned. Had to sleep in used sheets. No towels. Asked for help they ignored me. Asked for a partial refund they ignored me.

It was good, but contact with the host can be definitely improved in the future. Positive: Our colleagues liked the location because it was close to the project they were working on, as well as value for money. Negative: We did not like contact with the host - the number they provided did not answer at all what we see as very unprofessional. The only contact with the host was through messages on Booking, and this is something the host can work on in the future.
